I’m a teacher of English for specific purposes at a college of tourism studies in Slovenia. I’m interested in discourse analysis, corpora, lexicology and materials development.
I keep another blog for communicating with my students called Exploring English for Tourism and contribute posts quite regularly to the Slovene Association of LSP Teachers’ group blog Spletni dnevnik.
I’m editor of Scripta Manent, a peer-reviewed professional journal designed primarily as a resource for LSP teachers involved in secondary and tertiary education.
But first and foremost I’m a family person: a mother of two wonderful boys and my husband’s wife.
